I was driving home this morning from my girlfriends place when I saw a bit of smoke close by. I am really nosey… as are most guys… I saw smoke so I checked it out. Turned out to be what looked like a small fire, not to serious. Today was a forecast max of 36 and strong easterlys, which meant that this small fire quickly got bigger. It jumped the road and in no time there was a number of fire units and police on the scene. Then two water bomber helicopters, and two water bomber planes also joined in the fight, and I just happened to have my camera in the car with me… but only had my 50mm … so after trying to find a decent spot to take a photo here is a few I came up with.
